Fit a product photo to an exact size
Choose a product photo, pick the output size (for example 1000×1000), margin and background, then press “Fit to size”. The photo is centred without stretching, and the saved file is checked against the requested size.
Or drop it here. One JPEG, PNG or WebP image · up to 20 MB · 20 megapixels · 8,192 px on the long side. Your image never leaves this device.

How it works
- The output is always exactly the chosen size (width × height in px). The photo is scaled, keeping its aspect ratio, to the largest size that fits inside the margins, and centred — never stretched or squashed.
- The margin is the same on all four sides and measured from the output’s shorter side (for example 5% of 1000×1000 = 50 px). If the photo and the space have different ratios, one direction gets extra space.
- A photo smaller than the space is centred at its original size by default. Allowing enlargement scales it up to fit, but quality does not improve.
- The rest is filled with the background colour you choose; PNG and WebP can stay transparent. JPEG has no transparency, so it is filled with white.
- The saved file is opened again and its real size is compared with the requested size; the result says whether they match.
| Original (px) | Photo size (px) | Position (X, Y) |
|---|---|---|
| 4032×3024 | 900×675 | 50, 162 |
| 3000×4000 | 675×900 | 162, 50 |
| 1200×1200 | 900×900 | 50, 50 |
Does this meet Amazon, Etsy or Shopify image rules?
Each marketplace has its own rules for main-image size, background, margins and text, and they change, so no specific marketplace is guaranteed. Check the current guidelines in your seller centre first, then enter those numbers here.
- A white 1000×1000 square is a common format, not an official standard.
- If a rule says how much of the frame the product must fill, adjust the margin to match.
Is my image uploaded to a server?
No. The image is opened and saved again only inside this browser. It is never sent to a server, and the work pages carry no ads or third-party analytics. When you close the page, the image and the result are cleared from memory.
Is camera information such as location (EXIF) removed?
The image is redrawn and saved through the browser's canvas, so the original camera information is usually not carried into the result. This has not been confirmed for every browser and file, so removal is not guaranteed. If the photo contains sensitive information, check the result with another tool.
Sources and rules
- Canvas toBlob (MDN): How the browser saves an image in a chosen format and quality. If a format is not supported, the real output format is checked and you are told.
- createImageBitmap (MDN): How the image is opened. Rotation information (EXIF orientation) is applied where the browser supports it.
