Sajinbaro · Resize & compress images
Change the pixel size, file size and format of JPEG, PNG and WebP images — no sign-up. Images are processed only in this browser and are never uploaded.
What do you need to do?
- Resize an image
When a form or website asks for a width in pixels
- Compress an image
When there is a limit such as “max 2 MB”
- Convert image format
When you need a JPG instead of a PNG or WebP, or the other way round
- Compress an image to a target file size
When the limit is exact, such as “under 200 KB” — the quality is found for you
- Crop an image
When you need only part of the image, or a ratio such as 1:1 or 16:9
- Rotate and flip an image
When a photo is sideways or mirrored
- Pixelate or black out parts of an image
When faces, licence plates or personal details must be hidden before sharing
- Fit a product photo to an exact size
When a product photo must be an exact square such as 1000×1000 with a white margin
What resizing does
| Original | New width | Result |
|---|---|---|
| 1000×500 px | 500 px | 500×250 px |
| 4032×3024 px (phone photo) | 1200 px | 1200×900 px |
| 3000×4000 px (portrait) | 900 px | 900×1200 px |
Fewer pixels usually means a much smaller file. The exact size depends on the picture, the format and the quality, so the result screen shows the real size before you download.
How images are handled
- Images are processed only in your browser and never sent to a server. The work pages have no ads and no third-party analytics.
- One JPEG, PNG or WebP image at a time, up to 20 MB, 20 megapixels and 8,192 px on the long side. HEIC, GIF and SVG are not supported.
- If the result is larger than the original, you are told instead of it being hidden.
